30 July | The Armed Man – a concert for peace and harmony

The Canberra Choral Society and The National Capital Orchestra are joining forces again to present a concert of two very special works for chorus and orchestra, ‘The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace’ by beloved British composer Sir Karl Jenkins, and ‘Human Waves’ by legendary Australian composer Elena Kats-Chernin AO. Celebrating peace, harmony and resilience, this uplifting concert will be conducted by NCO Music Director Louis Sharpe, with soprano soloist Jillian Halleron and cellist Liam Meany.
