World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly – Sunday, 26 July

The 6th World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly will be celebrated on Sunday, 26 July, coinciding with the Feast of Saints Joachim and Anne. This year’s theme, “I will never forget you” (Isaiah 49:15), reminds us of God’s unwavering love and encourages us to honour the invaluable contribution of grandparents and older people in our families and communities.

To mark the day, the Archdiocesan Marriage, Family & Relationships Team invites people of all generations to join Archbishop Christopher Prowse for the 11.00 am Mass at St Christopher’s Cathedral, followed by light refreshments in Haydon Hall.
