ST CARLO ACUTIS RELIC AT CHRISTOPHER’S CATHEDRAL 10 – 12 AUGUST 2026

From 10-12 August, St Christopher’s Cathedral will be welcoming St Carlo Acutis’ major relic, his pericardium, the membrane that surrounds the heart. As the first ‘Millennial’ saint, his spirituality and example encourage the faithful to lean closer to Jesus, so that we too, like St Carlo, can be transformed into Love through the Eucharist. The schedule of events will be as follows:
Monday 10 August – Relic Arrives at Cathedral
12:15 pm Mass + Relic Veneration
1 – 5:30 pm Relic available for Public Viewing + Exhibition in Haydon Hall
Tuesday 11 August
7:30am Mass + Relic Veneration
8 – 9 am Relic available for Public Viewing
12:15 pm Celebratory Student-Led Mass by Archbishop Christopher Prowse + Youth Programs (1-3 pm)
5-8:30 pm Holy Hour + Young Adults Night in Haydon Hall
Wednesday 12 August – Relic Leaves the Cathedral
7:30am Mass + Relic Veneration
8 am – 12 pm Relic available for Public Viewing
12:15 pm Final Mass, Relic Leaves
